VERDEXUS has a strong network and reputation globally to build major enterprise software businesses headquartered in the Waterloo-Toronto innovation corridor. We focus on outstanding founder teams who can benefit from our active involvement to help them to build high growth global leaders.

We generally invest at pre-seed or the first seed round, provide follow on through the seed rounds up to the Series A.

We have tuned a playbook for success, with three components:

1. INVEST - we deploy proprietary research and diligence to choose the best companies to receive VERDEXUS investment of money and time.
2. GROW - using our networks, we work with management to built their management capability through growth stages, including a unique Virtual CMO approach, and teams to assist with Finance &Operations
3. MONETIZE - Although our long term focus suggests exits are likely to happen after the Series B or C rounds, we actively build networks of VCs that have a track record in superior exits. We believe that Angel List Syndicates can assist with this VC vetting process.

We source our deals through our proprietary networks, with a focus on the Ontario super-angel community.

We strongly believe in syndication both to ensure sufficient seed capital to set up companies for success, but also to find other value-add investors. We will always syndicate our deals based on getting an allocation from the company.
