Vye Ventures is mission driven with the aim of improving the human condition by investing in novel companies with driven founders who innovate in the following categories:

1) Biotech

2) Medical Device

3) Health-tech/other healthcare

4) Hardtech/deeptech/hardware unrelated to biosciences but that drive forward important new scientific innovations

We invest in pre-seed and seed stage investments with focus on (>90%) with one or more of the following:

1) True scientific innovation in the form of new molecules, devices, or processes who strive to achieve a 0 to 1 outcome creating new markets/where there is little existing competition or the new solution is greatly beyond current means

2) SAAS, AI/ML, networking and/or social solutions that solve important pain points in healthcare which improve access, decrease costs, and/or improve data collection and monitoring

3) Large TAM with chance for venture scale returns of 30-100x or greater and a realistic, goal driven plan to success

In the event of a portfolio company IPO or acquisition by a public company I fully intend to distribute shares to the respective LPs at the earliest possible date. Vye Ventures will never "hold your shares to optimize investor value to a target price."
