Welcome to the Syntax Ventures Syndicate.

We back ambitious founders at the earliest stages, typically pre-seed and seed, building disruptive, technically compelling startups. While our current focus leans toward deep tech (AI, robotics, space, quantum, defense and hard engineering problems), we remain open to backing exceptional opportunities outside that scope when conviction is high.

I’m a geek turned entrepreneur, angel investor, and startup advisor with a background in engineering, product development, and building high-performance teams. I’ve been active in the startup world for years and have built a trusted network across founders, engineers, and operators.

I also run several leading newsletters:

Founder Weekly - one of the most widely read founder-focused digests

Python Weekly and Programmer Weekly - with thousands of top-tier engineers subscribers

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

Early-stage investing is high risk. Only invest if you’re comfortable with the possibility of losing your entire investment.
You’re never obligated to participate. You can opt out of any deal.
Early-stage investing is a long-term journey. Startups often take 8–10 years (or longer) to reach a meaningful exit.
