Applying To Republic Labs

Republic Labs sources and syndicates investment opportunities in early-stage venture-backed startups from the Republic network of founders and VC partners. We work with a diverse group of LPs that span the categories we invest in. Our LPs will typically be executives from the fintech, blockchain, hardware, AI, consumer, and healthcare sectors.

Backers are invited into each deal individually based on their interest and experience in a particular category of investment. We limit the number of LPs that will back each deal to those we believe will provide value to the syndicate and to the company we invest in.

Backers will be invited more frequently if we see that they are consistently investing in deals that they are invited to participate in.

Investment Criteria & Thesis:

Republic Labs focuses on the Seed to Series C stage of technology companies that can provide venture-level returns. Its syndicated funds invest alongside top-tier venture funds in our network, and with those who have deep expertise within the category of our investment. We work closely with both investors and founders on each deal.

Our leadership team within Republic Labs, and our parent company Republic, has strong expertise within the finance, legal, consumer, and blockchain domains. Because of this, we tend to focus on investments that are disruptive to those categories and can provide enormous value at scale.
