I invest in founders who come from 0 with a deep desire to become 1. I typically know where they are coming from and where they are going. If I don't know it, I don't invest. This approach has resulted in an outlier IRR for my investments.
Dealflow
My deal source is proprietary. This means I don't chase deals only coming from incubators/accelerators. I don't sit at the office waiting for people to reach out to me or someone to make an introduction. I don't just go to events where many investors are competing on a deal. I actively reach out to companies if I like them while receiving thousands of deals inbound. I meet a lot of people. I like to know people. I don't know founders just as professionals, I know them very personally. Texting on Telegram at 2AM is very common. Sometimes memes, jokes, NFT or just anything. I am always available and I help in every way I can.
