Uber built teams all over the world to solve the challenges that came with our hyper-growth - we believe that the people that build the world’s most impactful companies learn unique skills and form deep connections with their teammates.
Our goal is to help this network build and support the next wave of transformational companies - with this in mind, we help organise Uber alumni meet-ups in various cities around the world and maintain an active Facebook group, Slack group, and this investing syndicate.
Our members are early Uber employees that are situated all over the world, with a broad range of experiences in operations, marketplace dynamics, corp-dev, product development, engineering, data-science, international expansion and government affairs.
We only accept Backers who are either personally known to us, or are active angel investors who can add value to the companies that we invest in. A completed AngelList profile is essential for us evaluate if you are a good fit.
Backers who have pre-funded their accounts will get priority in deals.
Policies:
- You can opt out of any particular deal without penalty
- Don't expect much, if any updates
- Be comfortable with risk and prepared to lose your entire investment without complaint
