StartX is a startup accelerator and entrepreneur network, created by and for Stanford entrepreneurs. Since its inception in 2010, StartX accelerated 350 startups which have collectively raised ~ $1B to date.

End of 2013, Stanford University and StartX launched the Stanford-StartX Fund, an evergreen venture fund that invests 10% in a given round raised by StartX startups. The fund is industry and stage agnostic, and has invested to date $50M+ in 100+ startups, from pre-seed to Series D, alongside with investors such as Greylock, Sequoia, Lightspeed, Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, Google Ventures, Formation 8, etc.

We created the StartX Syndicate to enable members of the StartX community to participate in investment rounds alongside the Stanford StartX Fund. The syndicate is exclusive to the StartX community:

• StartX founders, mentors and partners are automatically eligible
• Investors in StartX startups will be eligible upon recommendation of a StartX founder
• Investors affiliated with Stanford University will be eligible upon demonstrating the value they can provide to the StartX community.

StartX will lead a syndicate upon request of a StartX startup and when the Stanford StartX Fund is an investor in the round. The terms of the Syndicate investment will be the same than for the Stanford StartX Fund investment.
