I have established relationships in various tech hubs, primarily SF, LA, NYC and Miami. In addition, I know many Pre-Seed and Seed investors who are looking to syndicate opportunities. Most of the allocations I will receive will range from $100K to $200K. I want to enable more people to invest in startups, so my deals with only require a minimum of $1K to participate in.

In terms of valuation, there are no set parameters. One of the important lessons that I learned at 500 Startups, is that you don't pass on an investment based on valuation, passed on seed rounds of Carta ($7B valuation now) and Plated ($200M exit) based on valuation. You want to invest in the best companies, regardless of price at pre-seed / seed, which is where I focus. That being said, I expect most of the investments to fall in the median valuation ranges.

If you are new to AngelList syndicates process, you don't have to invest in every deal that I bring up to the group. You can opt in or out on any deal that I surface. I only ask that if you join this syndicate that you are willing to make at least one investment per quarter, at a $1K minimum, so a $4K commitment for the year.

If you are new to angel investing , you want to build a portfolio of ~20+ companies over time and you should be aware that this is high risk form of investing and most of the startups fail. Only invest what you are comfortable losing. In terms of exit horizon , it typically takes 10 years for a company to have an exit , so you really need to be patient
