The Tech Buzz China syndicate invests opportunistically in companies founded by Chinese entrepreneurs looking to global. We believe there are a lot more ByteDance / TikToks, Sheins, DJIs in the pipeline and that we are uniquely placed to take advantage of these opportunities. We operate the Tech Buzz China platform, which began as a podcast but is now an active community for investors and entrepreneurs with an interest in China tech. The syndicate is run by Rui Ma, who was previously an investment partner at 500 Global in charge of China and has over sixteen years of work experience in investment and advisory roles, mostly in technology, with a decade focused on China tech and eight of those years in China. She has an extensive on-the-ground network in China and is one of the best known voices on China tech in the English speaking world, regularly featured in mainstream media such as BBC, NYT, and the FT as well as industry publications such as TechCrunch, TheInformation, Rest of World, and more.
