This is a differentiated opportunity relative to other Angel List Syndicates and allows investors to diversity and participate in the real estate market. I focus on real estate markets that have outsized growth due to tech industry relocation. I have a long-term view on the market and do not flip homes immediately. I buy single family homes, that need improvement, in high growth markets and have a team of people who move quickly to improve the home so we can rent it. We then rent for annual cash flow and hold as the market grows. In San Francisco, this strategy has resulted in a 70% return. I am currently focused on real estate in Austin. I have a team that will help source housing deals, improve homes and bring them to the rental market. Anyone considering an investment in one of my syndicates should understand that these investments represent absolute risk, and there is a meaningful risk that they can lose all their money. There is no guarantee of a return on your money if things do not go as planned. In addition, there is no guarantee that, even in a successful real estate market, there will be opportunity for liquidity for the shares represented and an investor should be prepared to have their capital committed for ten years, or more without liquidity.
