Our goal is to provide high-quality deal flow from proven lead investors, primarily originated from the Midwest. While we have worked with, invested in and advised companies across the country, we feel that the true opportunity lies here as Chicago (and other markets in the region) continue to produce excellent start-ups. In the past, many of the area's most promising early-stage companies have not been available to investors via platforms like AngelList. We seek to change that by leveraging our breadth of experience and deep network to find and invest in top-notch entrepreneurs.

The startup ecosystems in the Midwest are rapidly evolving and have some unique attributes. There is a particular emphasis on capital efficiency and revenue models, leading to a closer fit between the amount of runway needed and the ability to prove product market fit. Because the region is growing and geographically diverse, it can be difficult to find the best opportunities. Our belief is that we can help bring in sophisticated investors to provide breadth to the cap table while creating efficient access to high quality deals in return.

We will syndicate all appropriate deals where we are provided an allocation to do so.
