Hi! My name is Maya Bakhai, Founder and General Partner of Spice Capital.

Spice Capital is a first-check Venture Capital firm with a consistent track record of being first to emerging categories and undiscovered founders. Our repeatable formula helps us source deals before brand name VCs.

About the GP -

Maya Bakhai is the General Partner at Spice Capital. Since 2018, Maya has backed over 100 founders and 6 unicorns. Prior to Spice, she ran venture investments for NBA Player Kevin Durant where she invested in Hugging Face, Mercury, Whoop, Dapper Labs, and Opensea. She has a B.S. in Finance and Data Science from NYU. In 2023, she was recognized for her investing in Forbes 30 under 30.
