My Edge: I only bring high conviction deals to the Katha VC syndicate. Fintech founders prefer working with me because of my sector expertise and candor. I operate like an institutional investor. I run an investment process that is data-driven, disciplined, and repeatable. I learned how to manage investments and risk from quant fund managers with strong track records. I also leverage deep research, forecasting, and AI tools as part of due diligence and portfolio management.

I’ve been an investor for 20+ years, have degrees in investment law and economics, and worked at hedge funds and investment banks. I’ve founded and built several companies over the past 10+ years. I know what it takes and what to avoid. My network. Hedge funds, JPMorgan, Cambridge, and meeting brilliant investors and founders around the world. I’m highly responsive to LPs and to Founders
Investment Philosophy
Fintech has a high-level of transferability across regions whether it be payments, neo-banks, credit, and beyond. It also has exceptional margins as a sector. We also consider non-fintech companies where embedded finance has the potential to be 25%+ of the revenue.
I obsess about risk management, macroeconomic data, regulatory environments, country, trade, and currency risks.
Preferred Investment Terms
Preference for capped SAFEs with information rights. Ideally top tier VCs participating in the round but not required. Traction, entry valuation, and SAM are more important.
