My focus is to look for companies and founders that look to make an impact on their community & business sector, through the use of disruptive ideas, approaches and technology.
The syndicates investment philosophy is to always take an active approach with companies that I invest in and to help guide the companies through to profitability. I focus on revenue based companies that have a narrow initial focus, but can be highly disruptive to a much larger market.
The focus is not industry specific; however, is driven by the companies and founders ability to disrupt an industry through technology. I look for founders who are committed, driven, and can make decisions based on outside information not just personal opinion.
After building several businesses, my greatest success came during university helping others build their ideas into viable businesses. Since that time I have continued to help build, develop, restructure and exit several companies. My focus has always been to bring strategic technologies to solving common day problems. Evolving from building inventory management systems, purchase order systems, networks, websites and shopping carts in the early 2000s, I have continued to focus on how to disrupt industries with new technology. Most recently I have been involved in the creation and distribution of revolutionary gaming products, as well as, the creation of future crowdfunding platforms.
Over the last 10 years I have raised and managed more than $150 Million in corporate capital. I have owned, managed and operated over 35 business in multiple industries, specializing in both high tech and service based industries. Through this I have managed startups, revenues under $1M to companies generating over $100M in annual gross receipts.
Today, I am a lead investor in early stage and growth stage technology companies. I have also recently expanding my investing and have begun backing other syndicate investments.
I will syndicate all investments which the founders agree to syndication through the AngelList Platform. Some allocations of the investment for syndication will be less than 100% of the offering. Some syndications may be done for companies I have previously invested in, as I will only syndicate companies that I feel are ready to take investor monies.
