I'm a Product Lead @ Instagram. I've led product teams @ Shopify, Meta, Lyft, Postmates, Kiva.org, and startups before that.
Invest alongside me in great founders tackling big markets. Dealflow includes but is not limited to: marketplaces, SMB SaaS, fintech, productivity, future of work, and occasionally something exceptional in consumer.
My approach to investing is looking for teams strong on product / tech, operating in a big market they've earned intimate familiarity in, where I and my LPs can add value beyond just cash.
Dealflow
I source deals through the alumni networks of Shopify, Facebook, Lyft, Postmates, and many other top companies that I'm well-connected with, as well as through the alumni networks of top universities, exclusive angel investor networks, and tier 1 VC firms' dealflow.
I see at least several dozen deals a week even when I'm just passively accepting dealflow, and only invest in the best ones I see, which I'll always bring to this syndicate when I'm able to get a large-enough allocation.
