Note from HUMANUS Syndicate
The HUMANUS Syndicate allows accredited investors to co-invest alongside Jason Carvalho in select, high-conviction SpaceTech, national security, and dual-use frontier technology companies.
Each investment is executed through a single-deal SPV on AngelList, providing LPs with deal-by-deal discretion and early access to opportunities typically available only to institutional or strategic capital.
The syndicate is led by Jason Carvalho, founder of Carvalho Capital and managing partner of HUMANUS.VC. Over the past six years, through his family office, Jason has backed pre-seed and seed-stage SpaceTech and frontier technology companies operating across NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and allied defense ecosystems in North America.
Jason is also a long-standing mentor in the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Space Stream, working with deep-tech founders in partnership with leading universities, government stakeholders, and global venture networks. This experience informs HUMANUS’s investment approach, combining early technical access, ecosystem-level insight, and conviction-led capital deployment.
