I was previously Head of Sales & Marketing at Semantics3, and was a management consultant at L.E.K. Consulting.
I build startups. I have a pretty decent track record of advising, building and managing early-stage startups with a focus on setting up the critical infrastructure needed to scale the company.
I've been working in startups since 2008, starting with Sweden, Israel, Singapore, and finally in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm great at helping startups transition to Enterprise-level sales. Having lived and worked in 5+ countries, I see global deal flow and opportunities, but primarily invest in US-based companies.
My investing approach:
--> Focus on good product-market fit, or potential fit.
--> I try to find founders who are hungry, and have the "hustle". Preferably those with some technical skills. Its easy to pick up business skills, less easy to have the technical "hacker" mentality.
--> Find founders who are constantly iterating themselves, levelling up their skill set, and open to learning new life lessons. I don't have patience for people who are unable to adapt to a changing market landscape.
I tend to stay away from:
--> B2C-type products where the growth strategy is to sell a dollar for less than a dollar to "build market share"
--> Teams that are heavier on the biz folks than on the tech folks
--> Anyone pitching ICOs unless its a very specific utility token
Dealflow
I will try to share every new seed tech deal where I have at least a $10K allocation, and the founder / entrepreneur allows it.
