Curated Access:

The Syndicate currently has access to a curated deal flow of +500 companies per year, co-investment opportunities with funds globally, and a team of scientists from the top research institutions of the United States, including Genentech, the National Institute Of Health, and the National Cancer Institute.

The General Partner:

Dr. Hector Jirau, has served as the Executive Director of Parallel18, a top-level, performance-driven international innovation hub that has accelerated +450 global companies, generating +$414M in revenues and having raised +$210M in private capital.

He currently manages a portfolio of 72 international companies in early and late-stage while also overseeing due diligence of late-stage pre-IPO secondaries of around $30M invested through Unity Growth Fund in companies like Anthropic AI, Figure AI, SpaceX, Stripe, and Cerebras, among others.

Dr. Jirau has raised a global amount of +$30M across ventures.

We are co-investors. We seek to invest in the same terms together with the likes of Peter Thiel, Two Sigma, Bessemer, Sam Altman, Yishan Wong, among other top percentile investors.

The Syndicate receives curated international deal flow from top-quality sourcing from institutions, including Techstars, Y Combinator, 500 Global, and their own Investor Network.

To ensure we invest in the most promising innovators, we evaluate more than 750 deals every year to filter, select, and invest only in the top percentile of candidates.

Our general partner serves as a mentor at several prestigious startup accelerators around the world, such as UCLA Venture Accelerator, FGV Brazil, Conexión E in Colombia, USC Incubator at the University of Southern California, The Futures Fund Community Health Incubator from Volunteers of America and at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, where we gain global dealflow access.

Although we have a lot of great curated dealflow with strong potential, we only select the few where we can predict with a high degree of confidence a clear exit we can guide them towards.
