Polaris Street Capital seeks capital appreciation by finding value in hidden opportunities - mainly in commercial real estate and businesses where real estate is at play. What differentiates us from others is our goal of utilizing debt-free investment strategies and targeting smaller transactions, typically $1million and under, a segment we believe has been largely neglected by major investors. Our strategy is three-fold: (1) Invest in commercial real estate or a business without using debt - While this is outside of the norm in real estate investing, we believe that there are more advantages to holding assets without debt; (2) Focus on opportunities in Southern California - We have 20+ years of operating experience in Southern California which provides us with a deep understanding of the communities we plan to invest in; (3) Smaller Deals - Our smaller size investment criteria provides us: (a) greater appreciation than holding the securities and assets of larger and more stable companies; (b) less competitors because the characteristics present in smaller transactions is unappealing to traditional investment funds; and (c) the ability to provide an opportunity to smaller investors to participate in an industry that has been exclusively available only to larger and more experienced investors.
