I have been an entrepreneur for the last 10 years (and pretty good at it for the last 7). I co-founded Mojiva Inc. and Mocean Mobile (acq. by Pubmatic) and operated both literally from the napkin through to exit, and built a team over 100 people along the way. I have raised over $40,000,000 in venture capital from Bertelsmann Digital Media, Pelion Venture Partners, Shamrock Capital, and prominent angels along the way. I formed a seed fund a couple of years ago which invested in Lawpivot (Acq. by Rocket Lawyer), Kanvas (leading Photo and Video app), Muzik Official (first smart headphone, winner of CES Innovation award 2014), among several other companies. Along the way I have also been an advisor to thumb.it (acq. by Y Pulse), and advise/helped found uncubed.com (largest startup job fair nationwide). Deal flow comes from personal relationships built over the last 7 some odd years within the startup ecosystem! I am also relatively obsessed with the startup ecosystem and spend a lot of time searching deals out in areas I find interesting which currently include frictionless discovery for content and commerce, mobile, and video.
