We are a syndicate funding cutting-edge technology with dual-use applications in both the national security community and the private sector. Our mission is to empower both investors and entrepreneurs through providing the access, funding, and network required to successfully bring solutions to the end-user. We serve as a force multiplier for our companies.
Defense Angels was founded with the intent to democratize access to the future of DefenseTech by allowing mission supporters to co-invest alongside top-tier VCs and fund the future of the industry. Our thesis is that the defense space has never required as much agility and innovation as it does today, and we aim to be at the forefront of that shift.
The DA syndicate is managed by Matt Prusak, who is in turn supported by an elite team of investors and operators from across the national security community. Defense Angels now aims to provide investors with access to those same types of high-potential companies. We also operate a robust scout program (Defense Angels Recon) to reward those who bring opportunities to the syndicate.
In order to help those companies control information distribution, Defense Angels intends to syndicate most deals privately. Membership therefore provides the opportunity to gain access to vetted, high-potential investment opportunities in the space at no cost, since members can choose whether or not to participate in each deal on a case-by-case basis without penalty.

As syndicate manager, Matt is constantly looking for the best investment opportunities that come through a number of channels including friendly relationships with a number of VCs, founders who see great deal flow in their space, and end-users in the defense world.
