Note from CircleRock Capital

CircleRock Capital aim to be the leading European, multi-stage co-investor of choice for exceptional technology companies and consumer brands, with offices in Dublin and London.

Returns from European VC investments have exceeded those from similar investments in the U.S. in every time period for the past two decades, and we look to:

1. Invest in category-defining European deals and share them with global investors

2. Invest in U.S. and global companies looking to expand in Europe in the future, with us as a trusted co-investor

Global VC funds are pouring capital into European tech firms.

There is extraordinary talent here, and General Catalyst, Sequoia, Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed have all opened European outposts. SoftBank’s Vision Fund is headquartered in London. Hedge funds like Tiger Global and Coatue are also expanding in London.

Based in Dublin (the only native English-speaking country in Europe, where startups are now receiving direct investments from Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, Accel) & London, we open up our European network for those founders we partner with.

CircleRock Capital have a successful history as both Investors and Operators (only 8% of VC’s in the UK have startup experience):

Conor Sharpe - Our partner Conor was nominated for UK Angel Investor of the Year and Exit of the Year, and has a track record of successfully backing global early-stage companies. He is also a Scout at €50m fund Backed VC.

Barry O’Neill - Our partner Barry built FCA regulated fintech Clear Treasury from inception to a multi-million pound turnover business, with over 2,500 clients across all industry sectors, exiting in 2020.
