We will source our deals through a variety of methods, some include:

Through the CTO Network:

Syndicate members work every day in the industries in which we invest and are uniquely positioned to discover, evaluate, and introduce investment opportunities
Members of the syndicate are tasked with sourcing opportunities and are incented to do so through a reduced carry mechanism.
Network effects (our members’ connections) gives us unique access to the climate tech ecosystem
Because of the strategic value-add of the CTO Network, we can provide strategic value to companies through our network and support early product-market iteration and feedback as our members are relevant and prospective target customers

Through syndicate leads’ networks, including but not limited to:

Early stage climate tech funds with which we have formal and informal relationships
Referrals from entrepreneurs we have previously backed
Accelerators such as Y Combinator, Alchemist Accelerator, 500 Startups and more
Other syndicates we have strong relationships with

We plan to syndicate all climate tech deals that meet our criteria, pass diligence, and we have sufficient allocation in.
