Chi X Ventures is a fund manager firm that seeks to invests in early stage technology companies to promote the development of emerging economies in LATAM and the Caribbean.

Latin America is hotter than ever, it received US $15B of foreign investment in 2021 compared to US $4B in the entire 2020. More renowned growth funds are entering the region directly, for example,Tiger Global, SoftBank and Tencent Ventures. As large growth funds enter the region, the early-stage investment has been overlooked, this gives an opportunity to fill the gap and seize the valuation spread when growth funds get involved in the Series-A and Series-B rounds while also creating liquidation events. 

Our first fund ChiOne Capital Ventures, a US $1M dolar VC fund, is exceeding our expectations in its second year of operations with a 4.8x valuation multiple. We have seen substantial growth in sales from our Proptech startup Vecindario as well as a robust performance from Prolibu, our SaaS platform that integrates CRM and ERPs to a smart proposal engine. These achievements in conjunction with the region’s opportunity-led investments across all things digital have set the stage to take both of these companies to their Series-A rounds, allowing us to take advantage of this speedy valuations.
