Arka Venture Labs, is Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV)' early-stage cross-border pre-seed/seed fund (US Delaware fund) enabling B2B entrepreneurs building from India to scale up globally. Our portfolio companies are headquartered in the US, and have operations and engineering in India. We provide early-stage startups with capital, mentorship and in-depth access to both Silicon Valley & Indian startup ecosystems.
Arka Fund II is anchored by BGV, a bay-area based, experienced cross border specialist VC platform. In Arka Fund II, we invest in pre-seed and seed stage US-India enterprise AI companies headquartered in the US, with engineering and operations in India. Arka Fund II has already reached the first close milestone.
The US-India cross border ecosystem has exploded since we got started, and now is a great time to invest in this space. I request your commitment to Arka Fund II to continue this mission we are on.
We started Arka Fund I in 2018, with $7M. We have now made 32 investments from Arka Fund I. Our companies have continued to progress well, with more than 13 companies raising follow-on financing already (with over $100M raised between them), 6 companies crossing $1M ARR and 9 exits. With a DPI of about 40% and with a strong portfolio, Arka 1.0 is well positioned to be a top performing fund. We are building on this and making improvements for Arka 2.0 to be an even powerful platform for these India-nexus startups.

Description:
In our second fund, Arka Venture Labs Fund II, we will aim to be the first institutional check in pre-seed and seed stage enterprise AI startups and typically invest up to $400K in the form of Preferred Equity/SAFE/Convertible Note.
Our proprietary cross-border GTM playbook enables acceleration through a strong mentor network across both sides of US-India border. We are building a network of operators across the rev-ops stack internally to help portfolio build a scalable go to market engine and scale up rapidly. Arka startups leverage the expertise and networks of our highly curated community of seasoned valley operators & top tier VCs who have built and helped build cross-border B2B startups from zero to IPO across both sides of the US-India border.
Dealflow
Launched in August in 2018, Arka Venture Labs has made 39 investments so far, with 9 exits and 10+ refinancings already.
We have invested alongside many of the venture funds in the pre-seed and seed stage in India. Our dealflow comes through proprietary sourcing based on investment thesis, through corporate partnerships in specific vertical, referrals from advisors, angel investors and venture firms across both sides of the India - US cross border corridor.
Arka Venture Labs plans to make around 10-12 investments each year, the coming three years.
