We have invested in over 25 companies over the past 5 years, mostly at the earliest stages and are seen as one of the most sought after sources of capital and advice for companies building new, technology-enabled business models in the financial services sector. Previous investments include seed stage (and follow-on) investments in companies such as The Climate Corporation (acquired by Monsanto), Simple (acquired by BBVA), Betterment and Fidor Bank. 

Our investment professionals have deep operational and domain experience in financial services, venture capital and design. Our founder, Sean Park, has invested in the past as an angel at the very earliest stages in 4 companies with $1bn+ exits. 

Our unique value proposition gives us access to exceptional deal flow and we are often specifically sought out by founders and other investors to lead or join rounds, even when otherwise oversubscribed.

We will consider syndicating each investment round that we lead, subject to agreeing the overall funding strategy with the founders and other key investors (if any.) For investments in later rounds (Series A, Series B, etc.), we may also consider syndicating even when not the lead if the round dynamics allow.

For certain deals where demand substantially exceeds supply, we will reserve the right to allocate in preference to syndicate investors who are also investors in Anthemis Group and/or with whom we have a long-standing relationship. We will not penalise syndicate members for opting out of any particular deal, however, over time we may review this policy.

We are expecting to provide limited updates (if any), although we will endeavour to be approachable and transparent in our dealings with our syndicate participants.
