AKV is an early stage investment group run by two recent Stanford MBAs with deep investing and operating experience in consumer. One of our principals spent several years investing in the space at Goldman Sachs, Davidson Kempner and Glade Brook Capital and the other was an early employee at MM Lefleur and Everlane following a stint at Bain.

Our investment criteria is rooted in fundamentals - product, brand, people - layered with a deep knowledge of market trends. We invest as early as pre-seed and as late as Series A. While we are semi-stage agnostic, our sweet spot is for companies with a post money valuation of $5m - $20m.

Our advantaged network gives us access to the best consumer brands emerging from New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
