14 years professional experience between finance and startups. In my first five years I worked in capital markets at Morgan Stanley and the Royal Bank of Scotland, where I earned my CFA Charter in 2007. Later I co-founded two companies, joined the accelerator Techstars and became a Principal at a seed venture fund, Mesa VC. I now proudly work in business development at AngelList.

Style:

I'm known for hustling. My colleagues have labeled me a "business athlete", a title I warmly embrace. I'm analytic, high energy and you'll often see me running to meetings. Typically I look for software companies with defensible strengths and cash-flow generating business models with expanding margins.

Other

Outside my day job I co-chaired NYCVC.org for three years and I also founded Startup Shabbat. I'm an active concert-goer, camper and mountain climber with summits of Mt. Rainier, Mont Blanc and The Matterhorn.
