The Bitcoin Ecosystem Fund is an early stage venture fund investing in hyperbitcoinization - the startups, companies, and technologies driving ubiquitous Bitcoin adoption worldwide. We’re at a critical inflection point of Bitcoin’s evolution into a rich, emergent ecosystem.
A new generation of software tools, startups, programmability and abstractions is driving an era of opportunity, growth and value creation in Bitcoin. Bitcoin layers, sidechains and technologies including Lightning, DLCs, Nostr, Ordinals, RGB, Taproot Assets, Fedimints and Drivechains are creating an ecosystem of higher order functions building on Bitcoin's foundation. We’re investing in all of these areas, from startups interacting with Bitcoin’s L1 to new L2 and sidechain architectures.
The Bitcoin Ecosystem Fund is investing in pre-seed and seed stage companies worldwide building with bitcoin. The fund is managed by UTXO Management, the investing arm of BTC Inc., the world’s largest bitcoin media company, publisher of Bitcoin Magazine, and host of the Bitcoin conference.

Management fees are taken as a percentage of the total committed capital. The total management fee is paid out quarterly over the first
