Fund focus and unique advantage:
The Executive Enterprise Venture Fund invests in game-changing Data & AI driven enterprise software startups, methodically selected using the collective intelligence of hundreds of fortune-500 executives.
Along with capital, we provide founders access to hundreds of seasoned senior executives and corporate innovators from the Fortune-500 and beyond, who not only share their expertise, insights and connections, but are also often prospective customers of the companies we invest in. This is made possible via our partnership with the Executive Council Network, several of whose members are personally invested as limited partners in our fund. Our investment focus is thus on companies that can benefit massively from our network of executives.
Focused on seed and pre-series A opportunities, the fund typically invests $100-250K in companies that have (i) a highly differentiated product offering with established product market fit, (ii) experienced founders and teams (often serial entrepreneurs), (iii) multiple paying customers and meeting our minimum revenue criteria, and (iv) a minimum 10-20X growth potential in 3-5 years. We are very selective in our investments, typically making 3-5 investments each quarter and targeting 12-15 investments over each 4-quarter period.
General Partner background & strengths:
Prior to starting the Executive Enterprise Venture Fund in partnership with the Executive Council Network, I was a private equity executive in the enterprise software space - focussed on AI strategy and M&A at a market leading investment firm with over $80bn in assets under management. I understand enterprise software trends and have advised CEOs and CTOs of 80+ companies on AI strategy, digital transformation, strategic partnerships, M&A and AI talent, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in value. I have also designed detailed frameworks for diligencing the AI capabilities of any company.
I have a PhD in Machine Learning and started my career by working at a leading research lab in computer science and then one of the world's largest and most prestigious management consulting firms. At present, I serve as an executive coach to CEOs of a very select group of companies in the Austin area, besides managing this fund.
As the Managing General Partner of the Executive Enterprise Venture Fund, my goal is to complement my personal understanding of the enterprise software and AI landscape with the combined expertise and insights of a network of seasoned corporate executives who are committed to innovation - allowing for highly informed investment decisions at scale and speed. We continuously evolve our own processes to enable this decision making to be as effective and efficient as possible.
