Note from Climate Capital

Note: if you learned about Climate Capital via a referral, social media or other means outside of AngelList please note it in your application.

Welcome to Climate Capital! We’ve been investing in climate since 2015 & our portfolio includes dozens of notable companies with large-scale climate impact including:
The CC Network Fund (fka CC Micro) is an AngelList rolling fund that invests $10k - $25k into the top 10-20 opportunities we see across domains each quarter, mostly at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stage. Implied MOIC on our first 3 microfunds: 5x, 4.5x & 4.2x.

More than a fund—this is a climate network in action.

The Climate Capital Network Fund aims to unlock the full potential of our offerings.

Over the past decade, we've built one of the largest communities in climate:
  • 100+ co-investors, including Tier 1 & top vertical climate VCs
  • 400+ portfolio companies across verticals
  • 3k+ LPs with backgrounds spanning tech, real estate, finance, academia, and more

We’ve been repeatedly recognized as one of the most active early stage climate investors and have a strong brand in the ecosystem.

We’ve also built a content, community & founder support platform:
  • CC Pod, conversations with our founders
  • Founder Spotlight, highlighting our founders
  • IRL events, including @ NYCW, SFCW & LACW
  • Founder Slack with 300+ members
  • Fundraising support, incl deck feedback, intros, & more
  • Hiring support, incl special access to hiring platforms
With this platform, we’ve already proven the ability to get into many competitive rounds – but with the launch of the Network Fund (fka CC Micro), we hope to get into most competitive rounds by adding even more founder support.

We’ll start onboarding founders we invest in onto a 6-12 month program:
  • Connections to peers, investors, and others in our network, with ongoing support from a Climate Capital team member
  • Bi-weekly guest speakers on topics ranging from fundraising to taxes to hiring
  • Bi-weekly office hours with industry experts, successful alumni, and more
  • Promotion as part of the batch of companies the Network Fund has invested in

The team to do this collectively has decades of experience investing in & serving founders:
  • GP: Sundeep Ahuja, a 3x founder-turned-investor with 15+ years in impact (non-climate portfolio) and 10+ years in climate.
  • Partner: Nishant Mani, 5x growth & revenue operator-turned-investor with 40+ climate investments and a deep network in the climate talent ecosystem.
  • Sr. Associate: Ian Campbell, a climate-focused investor & builder with 4+ years of experience working with deep climate technologies.
  • 3 Venture Partners: Help with sourcing, diligence & IC.
  • Dir of Content & Community: Sherrie Totoki, 7+ years operational experience.
  • Extended team: several partners @ Climate Capital Syndicate with expertise across industries. We also have a Seed Fund and we co-run the Climate Scout Fund, all of which are top-of-funnel for the Network Fund.
