Pronomos Capital is often called the most fascinating & unusual fund in the startup world. We're using the lessons of Silicon Valley to upgrade governance worldwide by funding villages, cities, and networks for people seeking to live better lives by collectively creating better institutions.

The classic example is the charter city - an advanced special economic zone with local regulatory control over a significant part of the legal stack. The standard - pioneered in Dubai with the DIFC - is for the zone to define & adjudicate all commercial law. Our portfolio founders work in public/private partnerships with countries to create new communities that seek to emulate the economic success of Dubai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Singapore by emulating their fair, transparent, and effective rules & institutions.

Our investors include Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen, Balaji Srinivasan, Naval Ravikant, Joe Lonsdale, Tim Ferriss and many others. Learn more from our website & Twitter. This syndicate is for excess opportunities from our main fund.
