Christian O. Edler

Private Investor | Angel & Growth | Sequoia Scout | Harvard Business School

I have spent over a decade backing ambitious founders and scaling transformative ventures across the US and Europe. My portfolio of 60+ angel investments has delivered over 10x returns, including multiple unicorns and successful exits (e.g., AdoreMe → Victoria’s Secret, Taulia → SAP, Simplebet → DraftKings, Silicon Radar → Indie Semiconductor).

My investment philosophy is simple: back world-class entrepreneurs early, in massive markets, with ideas that can create entirely new categories. I invest with conviction, move fast, and bring trusted access to exclusive global deal flow, often alongside firms like Sequoia and Andreessen Horowitz.

As both an entrepreneur and investor, I thrive at the intersection of execution and vision. Before my investing career, I built and led a sales organization of 1,500 people, generating $500M+ in annual revenues. That operational experience taught me what it takes to scale teams, build distribution, and sustain long-term performance.

My portfolio spans AI, Fintech & Crypto, Food & Alternative Proteins, Climate & Sustainability, Longevity, Digital Health, and PropTech. I am sector-agnostic and opportunity-driven, investing across stages from Seed to Growth, with strategies ranging from equity to structured financing.

Selected investments include:

Epic Games, Kraken, Discord, Mercury, Gorillas (Getir), GrubMarket, Choco, Omaze, Ruby Robotics, Mission Barns, Windmill, Unitary.ai, Cloover, Haven (YC S23), Kentauros AI, Visual Layer, Rosotics, Lead Bank, Brale.xyz and many others.

I value entrepreneurs who combine deep expertise, integrity, and emotional intelligence with the drive to build generational companies.

A former Sequoia Scout, Harvard Business School graduate, and semi-professional alpine skier, I am based in Berlin and actively invest across the EU and US.

“My angel investments returned over 10x, including multiple unicorns. The best way to get my attention is through a trusted reference.”
