GPs are Chris Messina (inventor of the Hashtag, #1 hunter on Product Hunt, ex-Google, Mozilla, Uber) and Brian McCullough (host of the Techmeme Ride Home, GP of the Ride Home Fund, author of the book How the Internet Happened: From Netscape to the iPhone).

Anchor LPs include Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon and Denis Crowley, and 30-year AI veterans, all investing personally. More info on the fund at: https://www.ridehomefund.com/ai-fund

Data is the new oil is the refrain, but we believe a more nuanced, hands-on approach is needed to unearth the most promising plays. "AI Varietals" captures our sentiment. It's insufficient to graft an LLM onto a spreadsheet and call it a day. How we define software and apps will shift as Airbnb and Uber shifted the definition of a hotel and transport respectively.
