At Giant Step Capital, we invest in exceptional teams and visionary founders who are solving humanity’s most pressing challenges today to unlock transformative economic opportunities for tomorrow.

Our partnerships are exclusive and strategic, limited to carefully aligned LPs—by invitation only.

Giant Step operates at the confluence of premier early-stage funds, solo GPs, media, and privileged insights from top-tier venture ecosystems around the globe. Our network extends deeply into the worlds of founders, VCs, engineers, students, and thought leaders, granting us unparalleled access to cutting-edge, early-stage opportunities. We’ve co-invested alongside leading firms like Founders Fund, Caffeinated Capital, In-Q-Tel, Lux Capital, a16z, Initialized Capital, Shield Capital, and Breakthrough Energy. This strategic positioning has enabled us to raise a dedicated fund and take a leading role in funding generationally transformative startups.

About Our Founder: Faraz Khan

I began my journey as a founding team member of MusicNow.com, which was acquired by AOL in 2005. At AOL, I helped design and pioneer streaming media platforms. Following this exit, I delved into the world of investing and entrepreneurship, eventually becoming a principal at VU Venture Partners. My experiences and network of LPs inspired me to establish Giant Step Capital.

Through careful diligence and strategic investments, I’ve gained access to world-class startups at their earliest stages. One such investment was during the incubation of Varda Space Industries with its founder, Delian Asparouhov. Starting with a seed-stage investment, I built a thesis around deep tech and hardware ventures. Over time, I’ve led personal and syndicated investments in groundbreaking companies such as:

At Giant Step, we are committed to shaping the future by championing transformative ideas and the brilliant people behind them.
