Democratization of access to information, investing, and banking have been one of the major trends driving today’s markets. Retail investing and neobanks showed huge success during the last decade. The advancement of blockchain technology took this trend even further by allowing a transparent digital economy where software can run by itself, and individuals can interact freely to own, transact, and govern entities without the need for an intermediary. We believe these advancements will reshape how we work, save, invest, socialize, and essentially redistribute the power to the individuals within a community.

Customers have been shying away from big players and turning to digital-first brands that resonate with their own ethical values. These brands are authentic, relatable, trustworthy, and driven by a community rather than pure performance marketing and ads. With the enablement of the ownership economy and the fading line between online and offline experiences through the ‘metaverse’, both B2C and B2B relationships will continue to evolve with new ways for businesses to interact with and get to know their customers via software.
